ABOUT MATCON
Originally part of the Matcon group of companies, Matcon Civil Constructors Inc. evolved out of planned succession and a need to diversify in an ever-expanding market. Based in both the Lower Mainland and the Fraser Valley, we co-exist with Matcon Excavation and Shoring Ltd. (Coquitlam) and Matcon Construction Ltd. (Kelowna), benefiting from a close relationship as we continue to share our expertise and resources.
Driven by some of the most prominent and complex projects in our industry, we continue to expand our areas of expertise, thrive on new challenges and seek niche markets.
Matcon is also about creating successful joint venture partnerships. Our unique joint venture agreement for Sapperton Landing coincides with the Matcon tradition of continually reinventing ways to build relationships in business and the community. This is also reflected in the area of parks and recreation, as our work with Ocean Marker Sport Surfaces Ltd. has enhanced our role as the largest installer of synthetic sport surfaces in Western Canada.
