LANDFILL MANAGEMENT
Matcon's early history included the operation and management of landfill sites. As time progressed, we began to rely on operators who had made it their business to operate landfills.
With rising costs, operator imposed restrictions and limited availability, we saw a need to regain control over our own landfill sites. In 2003, we set aside resources specific to the acquisition and development of our landfills.
As a result, Matcon Landfill Management (a subsidiary of Matcon Civil Constructors Inc.) is positioned to be the largest operator of landfill sites in the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley. Combined with our sister company, Matcon Excavation and Shoring Ltd., we have more capacity to receive soil than any other present operator.
