With a contribution of over 75 years' combined experience, the Principals of Matcon Civil Constructors Inc. are dedicated to overseeing daily operations while keeping current with the latest technology and recent market trends.
Randy Herber, A.Sc.T.
With over 23 years as an Estimator, Project Manager and General Manager, Randy tendered and managed over $30 million annually. Flagship projects included Coquitlam's Westwood Plateau development, where he oversaw the majority of the infrastructure and $90 million in civil projects.
Ron Amos
Ron has enjoyed over 30 years in cost accounting, estimating and project management. He founded TRS Construction Services Ltd. In 1988 and oversaw its growth to $25 million annually prior to joining Matcom. Ron was also instrumental in founding the Quantum Group of Companies, now one of the leading environmental companies in Canada.
Kirk Guse, A.Sc.T.
Prior to assuming ownership in Matcon, Kirk spent 30 years contributing his expertise as a Construction Superintendent, Estimator and Project Manager. He founded and built Matcon Construction in Kelowna, BC, which currently sees annual revenues of over $20 million. Along with Ron Amos, Kirk was also a joint founder of the very successful environmental venture that became the Quantum Group of Companies.
